I am a fellow Crimson Tide addict trapped in enemy territory up in New York City. Picture Me Rollin’ is the first place I go to get the latest ‘Bama
news. As a fellow aspiring sports writer I have a learned a lot from
reading your blog. I especially liked the Roundtable entry about our record for next year. I agree 8-4 or 9-3 including a win over Auburn would make me pretty happy.
I’m contacting you specifically because we recently launched our own
website FanDome.com (think: a really organized Youtube of sports +
blogs + team networks), and one of the first communities we plan on
cultivating is for the Crimson Tide. We have developed a network for ‘Bama fans to share videos and blogs. We made MySpace and Facebook applications to spread the member blogs to an audience of 200k+. We would be honored if you consider working with us.
I would love the opportunity to discuss working with you and your site
in a manner that enriches the Crimson Tide fan landscape and is mutually
beneficial. With over 35,000 sports videos categorized and searchable
by sport, date, team, player, and numerous other groupings, we can be
an invaluable resource for fans and professionals alike. We are
extremely interested in expanding our offerings beyond video and news
and are actively pursing avenues to embrace the blogosphere.
Check out our site. This is our model page for Ohio State (a.k.a. the
SEC’s doormat):
We are currently putting the finishing touches on the SEC team pages so
they will look more like the ‘Bama team page. This is the first draft
for ‘Bama website if you are interested:

P.S. Can’t to wait to see Julio Jones finally got on the field. His high school highlights have helped me survive the Brett Favre nonsense:
